Renaissance Medical Group, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in Maryland in 1994. Our headquarters are located in Prince George's County near Washington D.C. In our 25 years as a direct services agency, we provided care to over 20,000 individuals. In 1997, the Renaissance Treatment Center became licensed by the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration. This licensure was uninterrupted throughout our time as a direct service provider. We were certified to provide Intensive and Traditional Outpatient Addiction services for adults and adolescents as well as court ordered Alcohol/Drug education classes. In addition, Renaissance had an extensive mental health treatment program for individuals with co-occurring issues. We were also certified by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to provide DWI/DUI/Impaired Driver services. Renaissance also offered employer referred Addiction and Mental Health services as well evidence based workforce preparation counseling. In addition, we performed drug and breathalyzer testing utilizing state of the art practices. In 2016, Renaissance was recognized by The White House; this was highlighted by a visit to our center by the U.S. Deputy Attorney General. In 2017, Renaissance Treatment Center received the prestigious 3-year Accreditation from CARF International during our very first survey. Our treatment team included Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Addictions Counselors, and Mental Health Specialists. The staff directed an evidence based, individualized treatment program built upon cognitive-behavioral change and 12-step philosophy. We emphasized our client’s strengths, non-denominational spirituality, and continuing care. As we continue to serve our Mission, our current initiatives are an extension of our 25 years of direct service. We are committed to reducing the impact of unhealthy alcohol/drug use and other health risks in the community by engaging individuals, families and other stakeholders.
