Although we should all be thankful for the little joys in our life during the whole year, this end of November always gives us the memory to remember our blessings or, at least, the courage to express our thanks. Today, I read Morning Brew and realized how thankful I am for light. They talked today of Utqiagvik, AK which saw their sunset yesterday at 1:27pm and won't see the sun rise again for 64 days (1/22/2025). This doesn't mean they'll be in total darkness it just means for between 3 & 6 hours they'll get roughly the same amount of light as the rest of us see during the few minutes after sunset. It's just a circumstance of living in one of the northernmost areas in North America. So, today, we appreciate the light we have that allows us to see all around us.
