We are excited to share that Remote Vans? has been honored with Platinum and Gold Awards at the MarCom Awards! The awards are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, and we’re thrilled to stand out among 6,500 entries worldwide! We received: ?? Platinum Award in the Video/Film category for the Anywhere Adventure. ?? Gold Award in the B2B category for our work at Open House, Elkhart. “We’re thrilled to be recognized with these awards and I am so proud of the team,” said Robyn Hobson Hillhouse, CMO at Remote Vans, “The awards reflect the incredible dedication of our marketing team and the high quality of the work being produced. Good people.... make all of the stress melt away. This is how our day started yesterday, with the Chicken (and Egg), a turtle, and a few few witches / Harry Potters, absolutely hilarious. We're onto the final stretch of our first year of building production vans, and there is no sign of slowing down at all. We're pushing hard to hit our Q4 goals, while also planning ahead for 2025 (which is all very exciting!). We are so fortunate to have such good people in our team, all united and working towards a common goal of building the best vans in America, and introducing as many people as possible to a life of adventure and happiness on and off the road!

In 2022, I arrived in Cincinnati, fresh off the plane from South Africa ???? to join a team I believed would one day say that they built the best adventure vans in America. 2 years on and I still firmly believe that. Perhaps even more so. In those early days at Remote Vans? ?? ?? it was myself, the 2 co-founders, 2 assemblers and 2 co-op students. As has often been the case in my career, I was the first and for quite some time the only full-time woman in the organisation. Luckily, having previously worked in several startups in technology and manufacturing, this is very familiar ground. Fast forward 2 years and you will see tremendous growth in every single facet of the business. One of the most important markers of a developing company on the right path is seeing diversity reflected in its teams. Personally nothing generates a sideways glance faster than looking at an About Us page, or Leadership team and encountering only male faces staring back. So. In 2022: there was 1 woman. In 2023: there were 3 women. In 2024: there are now 13 women at Remote Vans? ?? ??. We're assembling vans, controlling inventory, working in upholstery, in detailing, in engineering, in marketing, in human resources, in electrics and in management. We're helping shape the direction of the company and the day-to-day operations to make Remote Vans a truly great place to work. Thank you to all of these women.
