At the end of October, ReMo’s own Vamsi Kumar Kotla Kotla attended the IMPEL Workshop at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in Northern California. It was a privilege to be alongside so many hugely accomplished companies making strides in decarbonizing the built environment. From low-light solar to streamlined permitting and affordable battery storage, the innovations on display were incredible. We received amazing feedback and connected with early partners to make owning sustainable homes even cheaper than traditional ones. The entire cohort shares a commitment: sustainability should not cost more. Together, we’re using the latest tools to bring these solutions to underserved communities—including tribes, inner cities, and rural areas. This workshop attracts some of the best minds in climate tech from across the country, and we’re honored to be part of it. We’re excited to keep learning from investors, partners, and customers while understanding the impactful work Lawrence Berkeley National Lab is doing to decarbonize the built environment. Thank you to the Berkeley Lab team and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Building Technologies Office for the honor. A special thank you to Jagjot (JJ) Singh (Stanford University) and Whitney Hischier (University of California, Berkeley) for their meticulous critiques on our pitches throughout the day. We appreciate the effort and look forward to learning even more in the journey ahead! ?? #sustainability #Decarbonization #BuiltEnvironment #ClimateTech #innovation #IMPEL #remohomes?Lucas Toffoli Navin M.
