? What happens when you combine art, storytelling, lifestyle, and the biggest sport in the world with the most passionate fans in the world? ? We teamed up with the adidas Fútbol Society to find out. Our shared goal? Bridging the worlds of soccer and culture to bring Latine fans together in 2024—a year that brought Copa América back to the U.S. and continues MLS’s transformation with even more international stars. It’s that time of year again: school is back in session. Back in 2023, we partnered with Cheetos to help share a message we wholeheartedly believe in: Latine culture is in session in higher education. ?? ?? Did you know that by 2026, an estimated 4.1 million young Hispanic and Latine students are projected to attend college? Last year was Remezcla’s third collaborating with Cheetos to amplify their Deja Tu Huella Campaign and fund, which provides the Hispanic community with funding for access to higher education. We wanted to spotlight emerging and established Latine creators across diverse industries including music, fashion, arts and cuisine while celebrating the power of pursuing college studies. So we created Culture Credits. It’s a privilege to create this work, and celebrate our culture getting the credit(s) it deserves in the halls of higher ed. So we launched Radio Colores, an ongoing series of Remezcla conversations with Latine athletes and creators, discussing how they’re bridging the worlds of soccer and culture to bring communities together — making an impact beyond the pitch. Like Mateo Arciniegas Huertas (??IG: @mateoah), a Colombian artist who seamlessly blends his love for fútbol and art. Our favorite part of Cannes 2024? Seeing so many Latine voices — on stages, championing each other’s panels and steering brands towards recognizing our community’s significant influence and purchase power. ???????????? As our Creative Director Daniel Gonzalez shared: ???“It’s important for brands to take the plunge.” Daniel took the stage at Whalar House, discussing how brands and marketers can avoid analysis paralysis when it comes to authentically engaging the Latine community. His advice? ? If the process feels good, the product will be good. ? Put the right people in the room, be proactive, and try. We couldn’t agree more.?? ?
