This time of year brings heavy feelings, remembering my last days estranged from my family, running around the streets using drugs. Why we do what we do – Recovering from trauma or substance use can give someone a new lease on life. Breaking patterns that were once mentally, physically, and spiritually harmful creates a space for genuine healing. We’re honored to provide our scholarship recipients with the opportunity to get on the path to a full recovery.

To date we have granted 60 Scholarships in 2024. The breakdown: 48% women, 26% DEI ,18% LGBTQIA+, 10% Healthcare and 10% Behavioral Healthcare Workers. We are grateful for the change we have made this year but more importantly, we are inspired to do more.
