This week, the Relay Investments team had the incredible opportunity to visit both The Wharton School and Stanford University Graduate School of Business to connect with their talented MBA students. At Wharton, we delved into the world of investment due-diligence, and at Stanford, we led a session on Search Fund 101 – Raising a Fund. The energy and ambition of these students were truly inspiring, and we enjoyed discussing the search fund model and hearing their unique perspectives. A special thank you to the Search Fund / Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) clubs at both schools for helping coordinate these events. Your efforts made it possible for us to connect with such an engaged and driven group of students. It’s exciting to see the next generation of entrepreneurs exploring the search fund path and considering ways to make their mark on the world through impactful business leadership. Thank you again to Wharton, Stanford GSB, and everyone who joined us. We look forward to staying connected and supporting your entrepreneurial journeys.

It was great to attend the Harvard Business School Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Conference this weekend. A special shout-out to our very own Clement for his insightful contributions during the financial leverage panel. We really enjoyed engaging with students, top search fund professionals, and current searchers. A big thank you to Alexandra Andrino, Ben Zheng, Arthur V. Belkin, Chris C. and the HBS ETA Club for organizing the event and to all the speakers for delivering valuable takeaways. We’re energized by the conversations and ideas, and look forward to applying these to continue supporting and investing in promising searchers!

Happy to kick off the academic year with our first Lunch and Learn of the semester! Relay Investments had a great time yesterday at MIT Sloan School of Management, where our Principal, Clement Lucas, presented “Search Fund 101,” diving into the fundamentals of the search fund model. The panelists, each graduates of the GSB, shared invaluable insights on how they leveraged their experiences in business school throughout their search and now as operators leading pediatric Therapy and AI integration firms.
