    We're thrilled to announce the kickoff of What’s So Cool About Manufacturing Capital Region, NY – a first-of-its-kind contest in NYS led by the Center for Economic Growth that encourages middle school students to engage with local manufacturers and produce real-world, project-based videos that highlight “What's So Cool About Manufacturing?" (WSCM). Teachers from 10 Capital Region school districts received training yesterday and are ready to get their student teams started. While using a video contest to introduce students to local manufacturers’ “cool” production technologies, WSCM Capital Region will also spotlight careers and pathways in manufacturing.?? ? Special thanks to our Leadership Sponsor, CDPHP, and to Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC), Emediaworks llc and Sahl Communications Inc.
