"Compassion, involves the recognition and clear seeing of suffering. It also involves feelings of kindness for people who are suffering, so that the desire to help – to ameliorate suffering – emerges. Finally, compassion involves recognizing our shared human condition, flawed and fragile as it is.” —?Kristin Neff Compassion, connection, and community are more essential today than ever. Whether in our personal lives, our work, or our interactions with others, practicing compassion can strengthen relationships, reduce stress, and help us thrive in ways we might not even realize. It’s not just a soft skill, but a powerful force that can transform how we relate to ourselves and others. One place where compassion is especially critical is in healthcare. Whether we’re patients or caregivers, we’ll all likely find ourselves interacting with healthcare system at some point. In this conversation with Dr. Hansa Bhargava, Chief Clinical Strategy and Innovation Officer at Healio, we’ll explore how practicing compassion within healthcare settings can lead to better relationships, reduced burnout for physicians, and improved outcomes for patients. Attendees will leave with actionable tools to integrate compassion, connection and community into your life, promoting a greater sense of wellbeing. We look forward to you joining us for this open and heartfelt discussion. #compassion #resilience #leadership #healthcare #wellbeing #mentalhealth #wellness #kindness Healio
