This year for Thanksgiving, Related teams around the country celebrated the season with residents and communities by hosting festive events and giveaways. Related Northwest partnered with Walsh Construction Co. and the Housing Authority of Clackamas County to distribute hams and turkeys to residents of the Hillside Park community in Milwaukie, OR. In New York City, team members from Related, development partner Essence, and Wynn distributed Thanksgiving pies and side dishes to residents of Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea Houses. In Boston, the Related Beal team volunteered at St. Peter's Lithuanian Church and Parish, serving lunch and preparing Thanksgiving turkeys for Shirley's Pantry.?Garden Gate Apartments in Forth Worth, TX, hosted a Friendsgiving Friday communal meal. Related Argent has announced a new partnership with SNG (Sovereign Network Group) that will introduce 50 new affordable residences within North London community Brent Cross Town. The social rented homes—known as the UK's most affordable class of housing—will be financed by SNG and the Greater London Authority, with SNG serving as the property manager. Part of Brent Cross Town's second phase of affordable development, construction on the new residences will begin in 2025 and will provide Barnet residents with much-needed affordable homes that are designed for energy efficiency, connectivity and access to a vibrant neighborhood.

Last week, the transformation of 20 Hudson Yards entered an exciting new phase with the start of curtainwall installation along Tenth Avenue, now targeted for completion early 2025. Thank you to our colleagues at New Hudson Facades, as well as our team at KPF, for their dedication to ensuring the success of this one-of-a-kind project!

Last week, Related Midwest’s team members volunteered with SkyART, a nonprofit that provides free visual arts programming to youths in Chicago’s South Side neighborhood. Team members spent a day of service at SkyART’s community garden and green house, which offers young people the chance to connect with nature and learn how to grow fresh, healthy food for themselves and for their community.

Returning to King's Cross N1C on November 20, Liliane Lijn's art installation?Temenos?will light up Lewis Cubitt Square this winter. The large-scale geometric sculpture invites the community to experience the neon "magic circle" through the holidays and beyond.
