This Saturday, Brent Cross Town will be marking the arrival of spring at Clitterhouse Farm with free, family-friendly events. A series of green workshops will celebrate the 84 new trees being planted at Clitterhouse Playing Fields, including making wildflower seed bombs, crafting bird feeders, and sowing a meadow with wildflowers.

Related Midwest has begun pre-leasing for Phase 3B of mixed-use development Roosevelt Square, with resident move-ins scheduled for April. Phase 3B introduces 222 new affordable and mixed-income residences across three buildings on Chicago's Near West Side, offering a mix of beautiful studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes.

Last week, King's Cross N1C unveiled HighlightHer, a vibrant and colorful art exhibition on the Granary Square art benches in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025. London artist Hanna Benihoud created a series of bold illustrations honoring the "extraordinary ordinary" women of all ages and backgrounds who play vital and diverse roles in society.

On International Women’s Day, Related Midwest team members attended IWF Chicago’s signature event Women at the Top of Their Game, which featured highlighted speaker Sandra Douglas Morgan, one of the first women to be president of an NFL team.

On Monday, Related Beal joined Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, elected officials, and community members to announce the acquisition of Fairlawn Estates at the T, Mattapan’s largest market-rate apartment complex. As part of the acquisition, Fairlawn’s 347 units will become fully-income restricted apartments. The transformation of Fairlawn into permanent affordable housing was made in collaboration with several partners, including Related Fund Management; Related Affordable; Fannie Mae; DUS lender CBRE Multifamily Capital; and MOH, which is contributing funds from their Acquisition Opportunity Program (AOP) to preserve affordability for existing tenants.

Last week was an exciting step forward in the process leading up to the redevelopment of New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA)’s Fulton & Elliott-Chelsea Houses, as residents got a first look at on-campus, refreshed vacant apartments that will be utilized for temporary relocations.
