This past weekend, the MPI Kansas City Board of Directors and volunteers had the honor of volunteering at REHOPEorg's "Fall at the Farm" graduation ceremony in Harrisonville, MO. ?? It was a day filled with celebration, gratitude, and hope as we supported an incredible organization dedicated to empowering survivors of human trafficking. From helping behind the scenes to witnessing the joy of program graduates and showcasing the beautiful community, we were reminded of the strength and resilience of those served by ReHope. ?? Cards for a cause ?????? We recently hosted our first subcontractor event, Cards for a Cause: Casino Night for #HumanTraffickingAwareness. With over 300 attendees, silent auctions, raffles and casino-themed games, the event was able to raise over $114,000 for charities fighting against #HumanTrafficking, namely, Heartly House, Inc., ReHope, and ZOE INTERNATIONAL. ?? Thank you to the keynote speakers from these charities for coming and sharing your insights and experiences on the impact of collective contributions. #AntiHumanTrafficking

If you've been to ANY of our events in the past year you have more than likely heard about our initiatives alongside MPI Global to help the fight against human trafficking. A big piece of this has been the partnership we have formed with REHOPEorg, a local organization that provides housing and a recovery program for survivors of sex trafficking in the Greater Kansas City Area. Recently, MPI KC and ReHope were chosen by Baron Cares to be featured on WDAF-TV FOX4 to share about our partnership and work we are?doing around Human Trafficking. We are excited to share this news segment and hope that we can continue to bring awareness, education and resources to our industry to help fight this horrific crime. We will be sharing more information about our work and have also recently started an Anti Human Trafficking Committee.
