The accounting industry has rapidly employed chief growth officers amid competition among the largest firms for clients and talent. In recent years, many firms have merged or taken on private equity owners to have the resources to compete with the big four accounting companies. Chief growth officers at accounting firms told LinkedIn News they aim to expand the services their companies provide or break into new geographic markets in an effort to retain and expand their customer bases, with some becoming more akin to consulting firms. But CGOs said it has become increasingly difficult to compete with one another. And the winner of Rehmann's 2024-25 Fandom Fusion art contest in partnership with the Detroit Red Wings is...Breanna Zaborowski from Brighton, Michigan! Our judging panel selected Breanna's artwork from a high-caliber group of 10 other pieces, deemed the top 10 out of more than 260 contest submissions. The judging panel was blown away by the detail, use of color, and story that Breanna's artwork portrayed. On March 27, we'll unveil Breanna's artwork inside the Rehmann Club at Little Caesar's Arena — where it will be displayed alongside the work of three previous winners — and present her with a check for $5,000.
