关于我们
Established in 1872, Regions Hospital is a private, nonprofit teaching hospital providing healthcare services in St. Paul and its surrounding communities, as well as for patients throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and other Midwestern states. Regions Hospital provides outstanding care in neuroscience, heart surgery, cardiology, oncology, emergency care, burn care, orthopedic care, mental illness and more. Regions Hospital is one of only three hospitals in Minnesota that is verified as a Level I Trauma Center for both adults and for children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24/7. Through our partnership with Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, we provide the best care possible for critically injured children. Why work at Regions? In a word: Culture. You’ll find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients – and each other. We stick to a Head + Heart, Together, philosophy – meaning we combine medical knowledge with compassionate care to get the best outcomes. You’ll also find a place to learn and grow. As a teaching hospital, we’re always looking to improve our practices. We foster an inclusive environment that encourages new ways of thinking, celebrates differences and recognizes hard work. We’re committed to living our values. This means you can expect us to be your partner and treat you with dignity and respect. You can expect us to listen carefully and give you good, timely information. And we’ll do our best to earn your trust by being open and honest and keeping our word. If we ever fail to live up to our values, tell us so we can work to make it better. Our mission & vision Our mission is to improve health and well-being in partnership with our members, patients and community. Our vision: health as it could be, affordability as it must be, through relationships built on trust and service for all

Twin sisters Vanessa Jones and Val Harris started working at Regions Hospital in 1999 and are celebrating 25 years with us this year. They both work in the labor and delivery unit of our Family Birth Center, Vanessa as a patient care assistant and Val in environmental services. They love getting to smile, joke and lean on each other throughout the day. For the twins, working at Regions and being able to interact with patients and their families has been nothing short of "a wonderful experience." See for yourself why colleagues like Val and Vanessa have found a dream career here at Regions – apply today: https://lnkd.in/g--k5vJY

We can't say thank you enough to our Veterans. Earlier this week, on Veteran’s Day, we expressed our gratitude to the many colleagues who have served or are currently serving our country, as well as to those with family members who have done the same. We deeply appreciate the sacrifices you and your families have made. Regions is a proud Beyond the Yellow Ribbon company and our support for veterans takes many forms, including specialized programs like HeroCare. We’re committed to being here for veterans who are our colleagues and patients. To our veterans: thank you for all you’ve given and all we’ve gained through your service — on Veteran’s Day and every day.

At Regions Hospital, we know a healthy environment is key to a healthy community. That’s why we have a long-standing commitment to energy efficiency and conservation. We’re excited to share that Regions Hospital has recently received the 2024 Sustainability Award from the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA)! In recent years, Regions has committed to this work by: Participating in Xcel Energy’s most comprehensive energy efficiency program, saving 2.5 million kWh of electricity and 83,000 therms of natural gas in the last three years. Installing a solar garden that generated 22 percent of the hospital’s electricity in 2023. Signing onto the Health Sector Climate Pledge through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and working toward a 50 percent reduction in organizational greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. We’re so grateful for our colleagues – including Tyler Minke, Tony Mies, Terry Durant and Josh Knoll (pictured) – who are dedicated to exploring and implementing energy-efficient programs. Their work has tremendous benefits for our patients, colleagues and community.

Our team created something sweeter than any treat we could get while trick-or-treating! These newborns in our neonatal intensive care unit are bringing extra adorableness to the spooky season thanks to NICU nurse Teri Wagner, who started making the costumes in August. Nurse Abby Mueller made signs and props, and nurse Kari Berg created the lamb costume. Patient Sara Loechler and husband Zach, whose newborn daughter Leah was in costume, said, “We loved our NICU nurses and appreciate everything they did for Leah and us! They made our experience feel comfortable and safe. Everyone shared their knowledge and advice to make us successful at home. We picked the cat lady in honor of our two tuxedo kitties that recently passed with old age. They would have loved cuddling up with Leah!" We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Our SANE program consists of specially trained nurses who support individuals who have experienced sexual violence. SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) offers trauma-informed, victim-centered care, including assistance with forensic evidence collection. Abbie Fliegel, one of our SANE nurses, recently helped create a video with the Ramsey County Sexual Assault Protocol Team and Saint Paul College. The video is a resource for students, explaining what to expect when seeking help after a sexual assault, including SANE's role and details about forensic medical care.
