The Region 9 Comprehensive Center, operated by the American Institutes for Research (AIR), provides intensive capacity-building services to state education agencies and other education stakeholders in Illinois and Iowa. We are part of the Comprehensive Center Network, which is made up of 19 regional centers and a national center tasked with providing capacity-building services to states, districts, and schools to improve education outcomes and instructional quality for all students. We help state, district, and school leaders in our region successfully identify, implement, and sustain evidence-based programs and practices, with the goal of improving outcomes for educators and students alike.
