?? Big news! The Region 5 Comprehensive Center will be transitioning to the Appalachia Comprehensive Center. While our name and website might look different (it’s a work in progress, thank you for your patience!), we will still serve Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia and support the needs of educators and students, so that everyone can find success in the classroom and beyond. Thank you to everyone who has been along for the ride these last five years. And to anyone new, welcome! We're so happy you're here.

The Council of Chief State School Officers' 2024 Annual Policy Forum emphasizes states' roles in developing and implementing innovative practices, evaluating impact and outcomes, and aligning funding to priorities in key policy areas.? ? Comprehensive Center Network directors, Allison Crean Davis, Jill L., Kristin Nafziger, MA, PMP, and Kimberly Hambrick who lead two regional centers and the national comprehensive center, represented Westat this week in Phoenix, AZ at the CCSSO Annual Policy Forum. They shared and gained insights, united in their mission to advance educational outcomes across the nation. ?? Remember to follow along on our journey as we transition out of the 2019-2024 cohort of Comprehensive Centers and into the 2024-2029 cohort, serving AR, LA, NM, OK, and TX, as the new Southwest Comprehensive Center!
