The health and safety of everyone affected by the Southern California wildfires weigh heavily on our hearts and minds. If you're in the Los Angeles area, be sure to heed evacuation warnings, and avoid exposure to wildfire smoke pollutants by staying indoors when possible, using an air purifier, and wearing an N95 mask. Climate change is playing a huge role in the number and intensity of wildfires. The increasing temperatures that climate change is bringing makes for hotter weather which, in turn, dries out more of the vegetation in an area, making it the perfect fuel for a fire. The increasing temperatures also ensure that the wind blowing in these areas are hot and dry, the perfect type of wind for spreading a wildfire. Our hearts are with everyone in the Los Angeles area.
