Come learn how the New Mexico Public Education Department and its Regional Comprehensive Center partner successfully reduced administrative burdens on LEAs and schools in recent years while ensuring federal compliance. Participants will hear how New Mexico Public Education Department streamlined processes and built robust technical assistance models, including: ?? Creating a unified federal funding application? ?? Collaborating with ED to correct findings of non-compliance? ?? Creating a cross-cutting compliance monitoring team to ensure robust programmatic/fiscal oversight for subrecipients? ?? Collaborating with technical assistance partners to extend impact Optimizing Federal Grants Implementation - A Case Study of New Mexico will be held on Wednesday, February 19 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM (CT), in Ballroom F. As we embark on needs sensing and relationship building across the Southwest, we're reflecting on the impactful work of our 2019-2024 cohort. In #Louisiana, we proudly partnered with the Louisiana Department of Education to design the Education Progress and Investment Charts (EPIC) Dashboard. This groundbreaking tool leverages #AI to visualize data on Louisiana's ESSER investments and their corresponding outcomes, making critical information clear and accessible to all. ?? It was a privilege to be part of the The Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) Dual Language Immersion Project - Playbook | NCELA - English Language Acquisition & Language Instruction Educational Programs kickoff at the U.S. Department of Education. Meeting the Secretary of Education while representing the Southwest Comprehensive Center and Westat was a memorable way to close out 2024.
