This video is worth the 10 minutes to watch. A farm the size of Los Angeles testing Regenerative Agriculture on their land says:
"It was absolutely amazing, the difference in how the [regenerative] soil behaved versus what we would find in our conventional farming areas”. Now they're expanding their regenerative acres.
Another message for everyone to understand why regenerative farming is important:
“When water is applied to soil that isn’t functioning and it can’t immediately infiltrate, it pools on the surface of the soil and runs off gathering and carrying with it, the herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides - going immediately into our streams, bays, and gulfs” (our resources).
Regenerative heals the soil and absorbs water like a sponge.
?? We CAN feed the world while bettering our health, safeguarding our environment, and boosting farmer equity.
?? After a small and successful initial test in 2023, Schiff Farms is expanding their regenerative footprint with three goals: reducing inputs, bettering the health of their soil, and protecting their local watershed, the Chesapeake Bay.
?? Witness the experiment first-hand—a testament to the potential of regenerative agriculture to revitalize not just local communities but our food system as whole.
