Regeneration happens when soil, farmers, and industries align. At the Regenerative Agriculture Series, more than 500 leaders across the food and textiles industries—from growers to brands to retailers—will gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to regenerative practices. Kristine Root will be there next week to help shape that conversation, framing where the discussion needs to be in 2025 and beyond. Because regenerative agriculture can’t scale in isolation—it needs alignment across supply chains, markets, and industries. With key players in the room, this summit is an opportunity to move the conversation forward. What should be at the top of the agenda? #RASNA #regenerativeagricultureseries #regenerativeagriculture

It's National Ag Day, a day to celebrate the industry and the people that produce just about everything we eat, use, and wear. Across our states, counties, cities, and small towns, agriculture is and has always been a vital common bond between us. Let's always support the families behind our farms, ranches, orchards, vineyards, forestries ?? as they rise to meet the day's challenges with resilience and fortitude. And take an intentional moment or two today to admire the hard work, care, and skill they put into the products we rely on and enjoy. #AgDay25 #NationalAgDay #SoilHealth Pictured: Greg Thoren of Thoren Farms. Today our co-founder, Gabe Brown, is being inducted into the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame! Gabe's story is well-known to those who follow regenerative agriculture: ? How he turned around everything on his farm in Bismarck, ND—first because he had no other option, then because he found there was no better way to farm than working with nature. ? How the 6 principles of soil health, 3 rules of adaptive stewardship, and 4 ecosystem processes transformed Brown's Ranch into the resilient, regenerative operation it is today. Gabe’s story is still being written, as he is always busy spreading the message of soil health to inspire more farmers, ranchers, and consumers to discover how regenerative agriculture can change their lives, too. Congratulations, Gabe, on this well-deserved honor!????

Today is World Wildlife Day, and a perfect opportunity to remember that as we focus on improving soil health on farms and ranches through regenerative agriculture practices like cover cropping, minimized disturbance, living roots, armor on the ground, increasing plant diversity, farming in context, and integrating grazing livestock, we're naturally restoring essential habitat for all kinds of wildlife. When the wild things are happy, it's a clear indication of a more balanced, more diverse, and more biologically abundant ecosystem heading in the right direction. We love to see wildlife when we're out on a verification and hope you'll enjoy these images of birds, mammals, bugs, worms, and fungi helping themselves to the buffet of plenty on Certified Regenified farms. Looking forward to learning and sharing at next week's Natural Products Expo West! On Wednesday, Kristine Root will break down insights from our 2024 Consumer Report, revealing what’s driving consumer interest in regenerative products and where brands, retailers, and supply chain partners can solve for gaps. She’ll also be part of a super panel looking at the regenerative agriculture movement through the years and into the future. Join us at #ExpoWest for the full discussion: https://lnkd.in/gRYSAVX #regenerativeagriculture #consumerinsights #expowest #regenified

For a regenerative farmer in a cold winter climate, leaving tall stubble in their fields after fall harvest is a great example of the rule of compounding effects—the concept that every management decision or practice creates a series of compounding and cascading effects, positive or negative. The farmer’s management decision to practice the principle of armor (keeping the ground covered at all times) simply follows nature’s way. Deer and elk foraging a prairie don’t eat the grain stalk down to the ground, they just tear the seed head off the top. So the farmer mimics this behavior, using a stripper header attachment on his harvester instead of a short-cutting reel. Aside from other benefits this provides the ecosystem, when it snows, the tall stubble helps the snowflakes stack up evenly and hold together in place like a blanket instead of blowing up into drifts at one edge of the field or another. When the temperature climbs above freezing, the snow blanket melts gently and uniformly over the whole field, right down into the ground, instead of channeling away in streams and leaving some areas too wet or too dry. In a brittle area where a farmer needs to maximize any moisture that they can get, this is hugely important. The stubble that was helping to catch the snow will gradually weaken and lay down flat, providing cover and organic material the soil biology can start to work with in a an evenly hydrated environment. And that will make it more attractive to the earthworms as they burrow and create channels through the soil, which helps the water infiltrate deeper, as well. All of this is just priming the pump for planting season, in a natural way. When the next crop comes onto this ground that's benefiting from plenty of organic material and active biology and moisture, off to a great start, the regenerative farmer tips his hat to mother nature for showing him how it's done. Thank you to Roy Thompson and Meredith Thompson of Triple T Brand (Regenified since 2024) for this beautiful image of tall stubble holding the snow in place on their ranch in Selby, SD.

?? More nutrient dense regenerative food, please!??? The results are in from Tomato Bliss, Regenified since 2023: “The study of 158 unique compounds uncovered extraordinary findings about the impact of biodiverse ingredients. The research analyzed 15 minerals, eight vitamins, and 95 antioxidants, and shows Tomato Bliss leading in 75.3% of measured compounds, with advantages ranging from two to over 5,000 times higher than the leading brand.”
What happens when you swap a rainbow of roasted heirloom tomatoes for commodity tomato puree? When you embrace biodiversity over monoculture? You unlock shockingly good flavor, superior nutrition, and true sustainability. The result: crave-worthy food that delivers measurable health benefits—from enhanced brain function to improved metabolic health—while capturing authentic, sun-ripened summer tomato taste. A new kind of tomato soup: roasted heirloom tomato soup. At Tomato Bliss, we love to see what heirloom tomatoes can do. ?? ?? ??
