This week Regency held a construction academy at our Geneva Public Library addition project! A fantastic group of local middle school students had a great time learning about construction from professionals of various disciplines. Through three engaging activities participants learned about the design to construction process, wall framing, proper tool use and much more. This event would not have been possible without the support of Ashtabula County District Library, Ashtabula County Technical & Career Campus, Cleveland Builds, NAWIC Cleveland Chapter #156, V. L. Chapman Electric, Inc., Scott Wludyga and Rick Ziska. Thank you for all your hard work!

This morning there was a great Workforce Development Panel Discussion focused on the partnership between the Built Environment Collaborative of?Greater Cleveland Works and Cleveland Builds, featuring Regency's own Field Superintendent Jason Anderson as one of the panelists! Engaging discussions were had regarding the trades talent pipeline created by this partnership, the need for further workforce growth and how this growth can be achieved. The panelists, representatives of union labor and contractor organizations, explained how Cleveland Builds graduates had been adjusting to apprenticeships at their organizations, offering valuable insights into a process that has substantially improved the Cleveland area construction workforce. We are very proud to play even a small part in this process, and want to sincerely thank the organizers for their amazing work. Additional thank you to Construction Employers Association (CEA) for sponsoring this event.

On Friday we held our end of the year celebration at a recently completed project of ours, The Church of the Resurrection - who graciously welcomed us back to enjoy their gorgeous (and award winning!) space. The turnout was great, the food from Italian Creations was amazing and the setting was unforgettable! To top it all off we commemorated Regency's 30th anniversary with a laser engraved wine gift box for the one and only Tari S. Rivera. We also acknowledged 2024's workaversaries; Matt Bruno and Marshawn Bell each hit 5 years, Carmine LaManna was recognized for 10 years, Terry Poling reached 20 years, and John Verikakis reached 25 years! Thank you all for building your legacies here. And thank you to all of our awesome staff for taking time to celebrate one another. 2024 was a year for the books and we are so very excited to be entering 2025 with all of you by our side!
