As a coalition of refugee-led organizations, we at the Resourcing Refugee Leadership Initiative (RRLI) represent communities who have survived conflict and forced displacement and continue to have our rights violated. Our voices have been silenced by local authorities and the international community at large. Grounded in these experiences, we wholeheartedly stand with the Palestinian people, who are enduring yet another horrific wave of violence, displacement, occupation and collective punishment by Israeli occupation forces. Through our strengthening program, we implemented three key interventions:? 1??Funding connections: We facilitated partnerships between our RLO grantees and other funders, unlocking 1,98 million USD in additional funding for RLOs, above and beyond our own investments.? 2??Strengthening RLOs: We delivered tailored individualized and group support through our Community of Practice and Companionship approaches, enabling our RLO grantees to develop 43 new systems, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness in an equity-focused way. 3??Network-Building: We brokered 40 in-person introductions between our RLO grantees and key stakeholders, resulting in 25 new collaborations with influential stakeholders, growing RLO reach and impact. In 2024, we continued our mission to amplify refugee leadership through our four-pronged approach: RLO funding, RLO strengthening, evidence generation, and advocacy. Over the past year, RRLI disbursed 3.2 million USD in sustained funding to 16 refugee-led organization (RLO) partners across Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Lebanon, and Uganda. These flexible funds supported 357,562 individuals, providing comprehensive benefits that extended to entire families.
