Creating Healing Spaces: ReWA’s Transformative Event for Ukrainian Immigrants This past Saturday, our ReWA CSEW Mental Health Navigation team hosted a powerful outreach event for Ukrainian immigrants, focusing on community, resilience, and healing. Participants engaged in yoga, mindful movements, music, and sound practices, finding a safe space to process emotions and reconnect with their core values. These activities offered what one attendee called a "breath of fresh air," allowing for calmness, emotional release, and renewed clarity amid challenging times. ??♀????? During the reflection circle, attendees shared gratitude and described the event as "simply fantastic," with one person expressing, “It is very important for us Ukrainians at the moment.” Another noted, “Working with body and voice through beloved chants and sounds was unforgettable!” Many attendees expressed a strong desire for more events like this, which they found empowering, healing, and essential for their well-being. ??
