This past Friday, REAL had the great honor and opportunity of hosting a film screening of the critically acclaimed “On The Mountain,” followed by an engaging discussion panel in partnership with the GW International Education Association & Women for Afghan Women (WAW). Joined by WAW’s Executive Director, Susan Aryan Antolin, Ed.D., and Naheed Samadi Bahram, WAW’s US Country Director, the panel discussion shed light on the struggles of Afghan refugees and informed our shared communities of the critical efforts and impact of WAW’s initiatives to assist Afghan women and girls.
