Today at RDC, we welcomed Children's Friend in collaboration with WIC services. WIC offers essential benefits that include personalized nutrition counseling for women and their children, referrals to necessary services, and a tailored food prescription designed to address the nutritional needs of both mothers and their children. We have WIC services at our office monthly, with the next day being April 16th. Please contact a caseworker to schedule an appointment. #WIC #ChildNutrition #FamilyServices

Yesterday, we welcomed Dr. Jennifer Horan and her students from the Migrant Cultures and Refugee Resettlement course at Bryant University. They engaged in discussions with our case workers regarding the challenges encountered while serving the community. This is the first year the course is being offered, with Refugee Dream Center being their first case study. Dr. Horan's objective is to "foster empathy and goodwill through increased awareness." #SocialImpact #CulturalAwareness #RefugeeSupport

The Refugee Youth Program aims to develop leadership abilities, support emotional growth and well-being, and foster self-confidence through a variety of engaging activities and events. Our dedicated staff and volunteer mentors work with the youth to facilitate a smooth integration into American culture, assisting them with various needs throughout the process. Our Youth Coordinator, Carrie, works with the youth daily to help them with things like making an appointment to take their drivers test, apply for college, and look for part time jobs. #CommunitySupport #EmotionalGrowth #CulturalIntegration

Today at Refugee Dream Center, Ana Isabel from Citizens held a financial literacy presentation where she spoke to our community members about the importance of saving money and how they can cut down on everyday expenses. #financialliteracy #savemoney #financialwellness
