Refrigeration Unlimited was founded in a garage in 1993 by Rick Patrick and Kurt Knutz. The company has grown steadily over the past 25+ years. Now with well over 150 employees in several service regions across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, and beyond, we have become the solutions partner of choice for many clients large & small. RUI has been built on providing a quality service judged by the eyes of our customers. What separates us from every other contractor is our professional people and extensive knowledge in commercial refrigeration, commercial HVAC, consulting, design, installation and service. Although RUI was built on refrigeration, customers have driven us into high voltage electrical, EMS controls, industrial refrigeration and general contracting. Recently I've been reflecting on what it means to be a great leader, the millions of self-help resources eager to serve the magic formula are daunting.
