Congratulations to our Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA)grantees on achieving a key milestone in their project with an evaluation of the preliminary findings of a scoping study on Ethiopia’s #agentbanking ecosystem! This study offers critical insights into key actors, market structure, agent incentives, and regulatory challenges, helping to shape a more inclusive financial sector. As a research initiative that values stakeholder input, we are pleased that EEA convened key parties for a validation workshop, gathering valuable feedback to refine the findings that will inform policy and drive meaningful sector development.
