The best way to start our day is breakfast with a nonprofit. It's how we begin any new relationship. We break bread and get to know each other, which typically includes a funny storyline or two. This morning included eating pheasant and getting shingles! ?? Investing in relationships is the heart and soul of what we do. DYK: 88% of nonprofits are considered grassroots. That means that while they are the closest to the critical issues in their communities, they operate in isolation, remain underfunded and lack long-term involvement from supporters. To us that's a big problem because their potential for transformative impact is enormous! So, we (Charlie, Kelly & Diane!) work every day to be part of the solution. Positioned at the nexus of trust-based principles and venture philanthropy, we champion the on-the-ground ideas and individuals behind them. What does that mean? We partner with on-the-ground orgs and go all-in for three years to help them build strategic sustainability. #venturephilanthropy #trustbased

Our partner, The Academy of Goal Achievers, Inc (more on that later!), does community partnerships better than most. It's likely because they understand how important those relationships are to the success of their organization. Leveraging the expertise and reach of others only amplifies TAOGA's work and impact! They are hosting their Impact Series this year, community conversations about different elements of the work they're doing. It's hard to believe, but next year Reemprise will be 20 years young! And here's something surprising - we've never had a website...UNTIL NOW! This is really the first opportunity to see "under the hood" at Reemprise. There are so many GREAT ORGANIZATIONS and GOOD PEOPLE to support this Giving Tuesday. Today, I'm highlighting The Academy of Goal Achievers, Inc , an organization that kicks off A DECADE of impact during this special season. On this Giving Tuesday, they're working to raise $5,000.00 to help provide scholarships and continued programming for college and career exploration activities.
