    Fortiline announced today the acquisition of wholesaler Belair Road Supply Co. Inc., effective March 7. Belair Road Supply provides water, sewer, storm, masonry products, hardscapes, tools and supplies to customers in Maryland and Delaware. Its five locations will be rebranded Fortiline Waterworks. The acquisition expands Fortiline’s reach into the Northeastern Region of the United States. In just the past six months, Fortiline has expanded its operations into Colorado; Nevada; Savannah, Georgia, and Northern Arizona and is excited to continue this expansion into Maryland and Delaware. Fortiline has an exceptional team in place that provides unmatched service in the industry, and we look forward to providing Belair Road Supply customers with the same customized service that our existing Fortiline customers have come to expect.

    On this #GivingTuesday, Reece USA is proud to announce that thanks to our $100 for 1000 annual giving program, 1000 children in need from 40 organizations across the country will enjoy a holiday shopping spree. Through the $100 for 1000 program, Reece USA grants $100 gift cards to organizations that assist children in need, nominated by our Team Members. The gift cards help the children celebrate the holiday season with new clothes, toys, and essentials they may not have otherwise. Here is the list of the 2024 $100 for 1000 recipients. We look forward to bringing this program back in 2025!

    Big thanks to Water & Sewer Distributors of America for recognizing Fortiline’s commitment to its Western Carolina customers and Team Members in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, and the efforts of our Western Carolinas Fortiline team, led by Charles Green. Reece USA has assisted Team Members across our footprint impacted by the hurricanes in many ways – including our Disaster Relief benefit that helps cover unplanned expenses our Team Members incur as a result of catastrophic events or natural disasters.

    We have been devasted to hear about the impacts of the recent hurricanes. We reached out to our WASDA members to share their stories on what's been happening. "Hurricane Helene had a much greater impact on our Western Carolina market than any of us could have anticipated. Immediately after the storm we made sure to be available for any customer needs. This seems obvious but the greatest service we can give to the community in times like this is the right material in our customer’s hands so they can begin repairing water, sewer and draining lines improving quality of life and safety for residents. One of the challenges we faced was making deliveries on our own trucks. So many of the roads we use to access job sites were impeded by fallen trees and debris. Finding safe routes to our destination became critical. This also caused delays in getting material delivered to us from the manufacturer as many LTL companies did not want to venture into the Asheville area. Also critical to address immediately is the safety of our team and their families. It can be easy to let the demands of the business take all our attention. But without our team, we cannot conduct our business. Fortiline took every measure to provide water, food, fuel, generators, etc., to keep our team safe and comfortable at home as possible." —Charles D.
