关于我们
Redesign uses development to engage the energy and creativity of residents and businesses in the evolution of neighborhoods to serve future generations. Seward Redesign was established in 1969 as the nonprofit community developer in the Seward neighborhood. Redesign has since expanded to serve the five neighborhoods of the Longfellow community: Seward, Longfellow, Cooper, Howe, and Hiawatha. We maintain an entrepreneurial, team-oriented work environment that supports individual creativity and collaboration with other organizations.

Not all affordable housing is created equal. Our newest development in partnership with Noor Companies, Wadaag Commons, is proof of that—39 units designed specifically for large immigrant families, shaped by input from the community itself. From private exterior entrances to oversized refrigerators, every detail was chosen to meet the unique needs of future residents. As Dominic Mitchell from the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority noted, “This is really a realization of what this community determined that they need.” Help us continue creating dignified, high-quality housing. Your support makes all the difference. https://lnkd.in/gRFQ_GeU

Donate to Redesign, Inc. today to support economic justice in our community: redesigninc.org/donate Redesign is committed to putting economic justice at the forefront as our community continues to rebuild and grow. After the civil unrest that followed George Floyd's murder by Minneapolis Police, we knew the rebuilding process had to be different—more equitable and inclusive. Since 2020, we have expanded our free small business support services and invested in major projects that increase BIPOC property ownership and wealth-building. The newly reopened Historic Coliseum Building is a testament to our mission. Co-owned by local business leaders including two women of color, it's now a revitalized space for BIPOC-owned businesses to thrive. Help us continue creating spaces for growth and opportunity. Donate today to support economic justice in our community! redesigninc.org/donate
