The North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association held is annual conference earlier this week in Philadelphia! Better believe Our Team and every other fellow micro-mobility operator rode around the City of Brotherly Love using IndeGo, a publicly-owned bikeshare service of 2,500 pedal and electric-assist bikes!

Thank you, IndeGo and Bicycle Transit Systems, for providing Our Teams their main source of transportation while in Philadelphia for the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association conference. Congratulations to our very own Rebecca Reilly for joining a panel discussion at this week's North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association Conference to discuss best practices of servicing small and large micro-mobility fleets. Reilly joined the Reddy Team in 2023 as a Climate Justice Fellow with NYSERDA. She was joined on the panel by practitioners from ROAM Share (which operates Heartland Bike Share in Omaha and two other networks in Nebraska), Software company Qucit, e-bike parts manufacturer R2Energy, Bicycle Transit Systems, and Shift Transit.

Next week starts the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association Conference in Philadelphia, and we're excited that Rebecca Reilly of our team will be speaking at it! Rebecca joined the team last year as Climate Justice Fellow with New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). She researched how bikeshare operations are conducted in different cities and countries and tested a lot of the strategies here in Buffalo & Niagara Falls. GObike and GO Buffalo Niagara hosted a Camp Coffee Ride this past Sunday, traveling to and from Niawanda Park in Tonawanda to serve a couple dozen bicyclists free coffee and pastries! The next Camp Coffee Ride is Sunday, Oct. 13, traveling to Glen Falls Park in Williamsville. Guests to this free community ride are asked to gather outside GObike's Headquarters around 9:30 AM for a 10 AM sharp departure! A member of the Reddy Team will be on site to help anyone in need of unlocking a Reddy Bike for the ride.

Our 100-Mile Challenge contest closed Saturday and we're blown away that more than 100 users completed the challenge--a third more than last year. In Partnership with Independent Health, we're awarding them $10 riding credits and the early invite to our Biketober Bash party, Oct. 23, at Buffalo History Museum. At the party, we'll reveal the leader board of who pedaled hardest this year!

We may sport RED a lot, but we'll be traveling GREEN this week! Today kicks off GET THERE GREEN by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation! Try out a cleaner form of transportation--like a park & bikeshare, and share it on social media with the hashtag #GTG24

BIG thanks to Create A Healthier Niagara Falls Collaborative for putting together the 8th Annual Walk The Falls. A 100+ people hiked the Niagara River Greenway between the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center and Devil's Hole State Park. In partnership with Independent Health, the Reddy Team led guests and e-bike library members on a 8-mile route that reached the village of Lewiston. Reminder: With support from the city of Niagara Falls, all city of Niagara Fall residents are elgible to buy Annual Passes for $1.
