Nearly a year's worth of planning, creating, working and more blood, sweat and tears than we care to admit culminated in an evening that was nothing short of magical last night. Amidst a sea of red gowns and polished marble at The Conservatory at One Sansome, we cheered, laughed and even teared up as we celebrated and supported the mission of the American Red Cross. The 30th anniversary Gala was one for the books, and even with still-sore feet and too little sleep, we are humbled by the outpouring of love and support for our organization. Stay tuned for more pics and highlights, but more importantly, know that the funds raised last night will ensure that people impacted by disaster, or in need of lifesaving blood, or a military family in need of support, or a lifeguard trained in aquatic safety, or thousands of Red Cross volunteers trained and ready to deploy are all able to fulfill our mission thanks to your support. What better way to make your Gala evening memorable than stopping by to donate blood on your way to the event? That's exactly what Red Cross donor and Tiffany Circle member Amy Dornbusch did, and we gotta say, she makes saving lives quite a fashionable affair! #redcrossgalasf

Every one of our 30 years of Red Cross Galas has been a fun celebration, but more than anything, it’s a time to come together and support the reason we’re all here: our mission. Alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies is the mantra behind everything we do, and we couldn’t be more proud. #redcrossgalasf

Red Cross Month is our favorite month of the year for many reasons, but especially when a cuppa joe is involved! Each Friday in March, our friends at Quik Stop Markets are honoring Red Crossers with a FREE cup of coffee as part of their support of Red Cross Month. ?? If you were at San Francisco International Airport last night, you may have noticed the terminal and air traffic control tower lit up red as part of our Red Cross Month celebrations. Big thanks to the team at SFO for shining a light and supporting our mission!

From December 2022 - March 2023, devastating storms and flooding drenched California, destroying homes and businesses. In response, the Red Cross offered residents shelter, meals and resources as part of a statewide disaster operation that continues today through long term recovery efforts. A particularly hard hit area was the Monterey county community of Pajaro; several months ago, we visited Pajaro to learn more about how they've recovered from the storms.
