Today, we had the privilege of meeting with Kate Forbes, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC, alongside Edgar Olivo, CEO of the American Red Cross in Arizona and New Mexico, and Pamela White, Senior Regional Philanthropy Officer. Our discussion focused on advancing our humanitarian mission and bringing global insights to our local communities. Irma marked her first year with the Red Cross by stepping up for her first-ever deployment to Roswell, NM in response to the deadly floods. Her energy and dedication shined as she purchased fresh clothes for 15 shelter residents, ensuring they could sleep in clean clothing for the first time since the floods. "My deployment experience gave me a profound appreciation and a clearer understanding of the Red Cross's vital work in the field, and I truly loved serving those in need," said Irma after her deployment.
