Senior Account Manager Elizabeth tagged along with Hector, one of Roscoe’s drivers, for a day on the job. The day starts at 5 AM, with trucks prepped the night before. Curtain rods hang uniforms neatly, rolling bins carry clean deliveries, and big plastic bins hold soiled items. Hector moves through each stop with precision, letting himself in with keys (yep, trust like that) and getting straight to work. ???? At every stop, Hector knew exactly where to go and what to do. Some places had lockers to keep uniforms safe, others had big barrels for towels, and mats were swapped with ease—old ones rolled up, new ones dropped down. Employees waved and chatted with him like an old friend, and he even switched to Spanish with some customers. He knew details about their lives and what they needed, often noticing if they were over or understocked and making adjustments without being asked. What stood out most? Hector’s respect for Jim, Roscoe’s owner. “Jim’s a good boss,” he said. “When it’s -20° outside, he’s there helping load trucks and get them started. He’d never ask us to do something he wouldn’t do himself.” Elizabeth absolutely loved joining the Roscoe team for a ride along, gaining even more respect for the important work they do every day!
