Super jazzed to announce the launch of a brand-new, year-long ?#StartupNOLA #AccesstoCapital series?for our ecosystem entrepreneurs (and aspiring entrepreneurs). First up: our #Louisiana #AngelGroups! Join us on September 18 at #NOBIC in the afternoon for this exciting program focused on bringing our largest angel groups together with our entrepreneurs to learn about angel investing -- and, if selected, to pitch directly to the angels beforehand! Below you will find all the details re applying to pitch for funding (closed session, by invitation only, 2:30pm to 4pm) and the happy hour + program to follow (open to all, 4pm to 6:30pm). ? 5 current LSU Department of Finance students made a presentation to members of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council today on LSU’s Venture Capital Apprentice Program (VCAP) which is part of FIN 4740, a course on PE & Venture Capital. This experiential learning program was created in 2020 in partnership with Red Stick Angel Network, Nexus Louisiana and Innovation Catalyst and allows students to work directly with the management teams of early stage companies on a variety of important consulting projects.
