AT&T is set to tighten its return-to-office requirements, ending a hybrid schedule the company had allowed for some employees for the past year. The company tells me that a "majority" of workers have always worked full-time on-site, but some workers on social media worry the influx of additional workers could strain office capacity. We are honored to announce the election of Ryan Halloran to the OH Board of Directors. Ryan Halloran joins the OH Board as the Founder of Red Star Consulting, specializing in change-making IT consulting.?For two decades,?Ryan?has led a variety of organizations through the process of identifying opportunities for improvement, followed by successfully implementing those changes forthwith. Since its inception in 2019,?Red Star Consulting has provided critical strategic and tactical services to over fifty organizations, both domestic and international. Ryan (Red Star) was hired in 2021 by OH to completely overhaul the Obscure Histories website. At that time, OH had nearly 100 cumbersome pages without the option to add new content. Ryan was able to completely streamline the website for new content, and he created new graphics and infrastructure. He did all the heavy lifting necessary to pave the way for OH's switch to nonprofit status, and he continues to help OH by developing OH, Jr.'s new educational interface and remote learning options. Ryan is our IT braintrust with a people-first mindset. With his expertise, OH will be able to create content and outreach programs for years to come. We are so humbled and thrilled to have him on the Obscure Histories Board of Directors.
