We had a very special Nike RBI Day at Fenway where we were able to celebrate our youth baseball and softball players and coaches! The Red Sox Foundation's Nike RBI program provides team equipment, uniforms, field access and umpires at no cost to players and their families, and supports a cohort of dedicated coaches who use baseball and softball as a platform to teach core values of teamwork, respect and leadership.

Congratulations to winners of our 2024 IMPACT Awards presented by the Manning Family Foundation! These organizations have demonstrated deep impact in improving Type 1 Diabetes awareness, advocacy, and services. We were honored to celebrate them before yesterday’s Red Sox game in a special pregame ceremony. The IMPACT Awards provide Red Sox fans in the six New England states with the chance to nominate their favorite, most impactful local nonprofit organization for their opportunity to win a grant from the Red Sox Foundation.

Thank you, Rafael Devers, for meeting with one of the families who joined us for our Picnic in the Park presented by the MassMutual Foundation and making their first time at Fenway Park one to remember!

This past Sunday, 500 students and their families from Springfield, Boston, Chelsea, and Lawrence had the opportunity to take the field following the game for our second annual Picnic in the Park at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark in partnership with the Red Sox Foundation and our MassMutual Foundation Springfield nonprofit partners, New North Citizens Council, Inc. and the Boys & Girls Club Family Center. We’d also like to thank our MassMutual volunteers for helping to make this year’s picnic a huge success.

This past weekend we welcomed youth and families from Boston, Chelsea, Lawrence, and Springfield for our Picnic in the Park presented by the?MassMutual?Foundation! It was a special day at Fenway and we are grateful to?MassMutual?Foundation for making this amazing day possible. ??

Thank you to Morgan & Morgan, P.A. for their support of our Donated Tickets Program where we distribute Red Sox tickets to countless organizations, youth, and families. We are grateful to be partnering with them for the second straight year to make sure everyone has a chance to visit Fenway Park. ??

PSG’s Chris Collins and the Red Sox Foundation’s Rebekah Splaine Salwasser recently spoke with NESN about our partnership with the Red Sox Scholars Program sharing the impact the program has had in helping young students achieve their academic and professional goals. Each year, the program awards a $10,000 college scholarship to 12 Boston Public School 7th graders. We were also delighted to welcome our Red Sox Scholars and their families back to our office for the annual Back-to-School Supply Pick-Up. 100 backpacks stuffed with essential school supplies were handed out to help Scholars and their families prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. Over a dozen laundry baskets were handed to the students heading off to college. PSG is committed to equipping Boston’s young minds with the resources they need to thrive. In honor of the life and legacy of Tim Wakefield, the Red Sox Foundation will recognize 7 volunteers – one from each of the six New England states and one from a Challenger Little League – who through dedication and commitment provides exceptional services to their youth baseball and/or softball community.
