Yesterday, Todd Collins, CEO of Red Hill Ventures, participated in Bisnow’s Charlotte State of the Market event at 110 East Blvd - Charlotte. He joined a panel of industry leaders in the Southeast, including Andrew Rudy, Ted Hill, John Ball and Lee McNeer, to discuss investment trends across various asset types and explore where value is emerging. Thank you Charlotte Business Journal for selecting our Carolina Industrial Park project as a finalist for the 2024 Top Commercial Real Estate Developments Heavy Hitter Award! We’re honored to be recognized for this achievement. Red Hill Ventures saw tremendous potential in this 72-acre industrial site in Mt. Holly, NC, a place with deep roots in innovation and economic growth. Through strategic investments and revitalization efforts, we’ve successfully transformed the park from 38% to over 94% occupancy, revitalizing a key economic engine in Gaston County. Congratulations to Griffin Weidner and Alex- Simone Bowman, our summer interns, for completing their culminating projects as they conclude their internship experience at Red Hill Ventures. Griffin, supported by Erick Miller in our Commercial Division, performed essential maintenance tasks at various commercial properties and strategically prospected for potential tenants. As he reflected on his canvassing efforts, he emphasized the importance of forming meaningful connections with business owners in the Charlotte community. He also played a key role in modeling and managing CapEx improvements for assets such as Carolina Industrial Park. Alexa, under the guidance of Nicola Grant, developed visually appealing marketing materials for our Multifamily Division that highlight recent property renovations. She also enhanced the social media presence of our multifamily complexes with engaging videos and posts. Additionally, she gained valuable experience by shadowing a property manager at one of our communities. We are grateful for Alexa’s insights and contributions as we prepare for a busy and productive fall season ahead. Griffin and Alexa, thank you for your dedication and hard work this summer. The positive?impact of this school is evident in the energy and confidence of each student.? In his speech, he shared this advice with students as they prepare for the next chapter: - Show Self-Love & Kindness | Like yourself, love yourself, and be kind to yourself. - Put Gratitude and Relationships First | Be kind to others, appreciative and grateful; building relationships along the way.? - Embrace a Productive Mindset | Work to be a Producer and not a Consumer. Congratulations to Erick Miller, Director of Commercial Real Estate, and the Two SouthPark team, who have secured a Placemakers Grant from the City of Charlotte for $15,000. The funds will assist with our upcoming initiative: the Park South Connector Trail. Our long-term vision is to connect the Backlot trail on our Two SouthPark property with the larger SouthPark Cultural Loop, providing community members access to the existing and future greenway system.
