We're excited to welcome Colonel Pete Moon to the Red Gate Group as our newest DoD SkillBridge Intern! The DoD SkillBridge program offers service members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience during their transition from military service. As part of this program, Col. Moon will be with us for the next few months, learning about the civilian defense contracting sector and how his military skills translate to our industry. Col. Moon brings 25+ years of leadership experience in the U.S. Army, most recently serving as Chief of Staff for the Army's Office of the Chief of Public Affairs. This internship will provide Col. Moon with real-world job experience in our industry, helping bridge the gap between military service and civilian career opportunities. Great news! The Red Gate Group has been awarded a major task order by the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) to support innovative acquisition approaches for critical warfighting capabilities. This multi-year task order will have the Red Gate team assisting the OUSD A&S Acquisition Policy & Innovation Directorate in developing and implementing the latest acquisition policies and practices across all acquisition pathways. This multi-year contract was issued under the Analytic and Technical Support Services (ATSS) vehicle and represents new work for Red Gate.
