The 2024 Annual Meeting was a SUCCESS! We appreciate everyone who was able to travel to attend and gather with fellow members. In our virtual world, connecting offline always fills us with joy, seeing our amazing group reunite for an awesome time. Shout out to Eco-Cycle and Boulder County Resource Conservation Division for being such amazing hosts. Our attendees were so gracious for your hospitality and letting us take peak at your operations. Thank you to our sponsor, WM, for helping to make the Annual Meeting possible and most importantly, ensuring our attendees didn't go hungry. Our professional development moment highlighted the continued work Circular Action Alliance has been doing for Colorado Producer Responsibility. Thank you for providing this workshop to continue to keep our members in the loop. The day was topped off with an awesome happy hour and thrifty white elephant exchange. Share your pics from the Annual Meeting or of your thrifted prize!

The Colorado Circular Transportation Network (CTN) is a project led & supported by the Circular Economy Development Center to address rural recycling transportation challenges. The goal of this program is to collect recyclable materials that are at risk of going to landfill due to challenges faced by small-scale generators: small accumulations of materials, prohibitive transportation costs and/or lack of access to hauling. For more information and to sign up, visit the?CEDC website?or contact?[email protected]. Recycle Colorado will also be?hosting a webinar to help members learn more?on October 22nd at 1pm. ?? Reuse is refreshing! Going off without a "Hiccup"! Today we saved 50,000 single-use disposable cups from the landfill. Building circular systems, and moving away from a linear economy, can seem like a marathon but with each step we are getting closer to the finish line. The City of Boulder's Circular Economy team is sponsoring the use of Hiccup reusable silicone cups at the Boulderthon? this morning. I'm excited to be a part of bringing reuable, returnables to the first road race in Colorado to have reusable cups. David Benjes, thank you for your vision in allowing reusable cups to enter a new space! #reuse #reusables #running #roadrace #marathon #returnable #Circular #circularity #circulareconomy #upstream #upstreamsolutions #EPR #extendedproducerresponsibility Upstream Recycle Colorado Circular Action Alliance Circular Colorado
