A recent Transunion CIBIL report reveals an encouraging trend: the number of women accessing credit in India has grown significantly, with a CAGR of 22% from 2019 to 2024. Interestingly, there's been a shift in the type of credit women are accessing. By the end of 2024, 16% of female borrowers had business loans, up from just 9% in 2019.
