CureID is a digital platform developed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in collaboration with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). CureID allows healthcare professionals and researchers to: -Share real-world clinical experiences using drugs and medical products for off-label or new uses (uses not yet formally approved by the FDA). -Collect and review case reports from around the world about how certain treatments are being used in practice, especially for rare, difficult-to-treat, or emerging diseases where clinical trials may not yet exist. -Encourage crowdsourced knowledge that can help identify promising treatments for further formal study.
