Yesterday, our Associate Board had the pleasure of hosting Recovery Resources board member Bret Buike, as he once again donated through his efforts with the #GogginsChallenge, a 4 mile every 4 hours for 48 hours race. This $25,000 check will go toward helping people with addictions and veteran suicide. This is Bret's fourth year completing this challenge and he is excited for next year as he continues his quest to raise even more! Thank you, Bret for everything you do to support mental health and wellbeing. To donate to Recovery Resources, visit our website at www.recres.org. #AddictionRecovery #MentalHealthAwareness #VeteranSupport #CommunitySupport

Last week, Judge David Matia one of the Common Pleas Court judges, biked over 60 miles in honor of his 60th birthday, stopping at all the recovery organizations throughout Cuyahoga County to raise funds for Project 180 of which Recovery Resources is the fiscal agent. Project 180 is a social group for Cuyahoga County Drug Court clients, alumni, and friends. Over $6,500 was raised. Way to go, Judge Matia! Check out this short interview Judge Matia did on WKYC Studios just before departing for the ride: https://lnkd.in/eb-bFVmV #project180 #recoveryispossible #getactivestayactive
