Happy one year anniversary to Kayla Hornbrook! Kayla has jumped in feet first at RBFF, and likely, many of you know it! She overhauled the First Catch Centers Program making it easier for state agencies to understand and adopt the program, refined the Boat Registration Reactivation Program for efficiency, and was a key player at the State Marketing Workshop, helping with logistics and leading the AI and Automation session. Her creativity and systems automations expertise stands out across the board and we are so glad she is part of the team! Ding! New text message! Last year, with the help of an R3 Grant from RBFF, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department launched a new campaign to notify and remind customers about their expiring or lapsed boat registration. Within months, TPWD found that text messaging was both wildly effective and cost efficient at engaging Texas boaters.
