Exciting Opportunity: Join Us as Vice Chair at Recovery Friendly Leader (RFL)! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting employee recovery and addressing substance use issues in the workplace.?This individual will actively help drive our efforts forward, enhance our initiatives, and strengthen our capacity to support employee recovery in the workplace through effective leadership practices. This is a unique role, as the Vice Chair will transition into the Chair’s position in July 2025. The ideal candidate should be business-minded, with a working knowledge of our mission, specifically how to support employee recovery and address substance use issues in the workplace, while balancing the organization’s safety, health, and productivity. This individual will support the Chair in providing strategic guidance on board operations, stakeholder collaboration, and our training program, while offering counsel on aligning the organization’s overall strategy with its mission to foster recovery friendly leadership practices. At the Colorado Opioid Abatement Conference today, I was honored to present alongside David Shapiro sharing my personal recovery journey and why being a Recovery Friendly Leader (RFL) is so crucial. It was an exciting moment as we were announced as recipients of the Opioid Impact Grant for the next two years! These funds will allow us to continue our mission of supporting individuals in recovery and creating healthier, safer workplaces. It was also a pleasure to meet the Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and discuss the important work ahead.
