We aim to provide a safe and supportive community for individuals and families to achieve recovery from addiction.
关于我们
Our mission is to empower individuals and families affected by addiction by providing a safe and supportive community where they can find hope, inspiration, resources and achieve long-term recovery. The Recovery Action Network of Michigan is committed to promoting a community that embraces and supports recovery for a diverse group of people. Built through humility, inclusiveness, and lived experience, we envision a safe, knowledgeable, and equitable community in which individuals actively in recovery, or those seeking it, can thrive. The Recovery Action Network of Michigan is the recovery community organization serving Western Wayne County with aspirations to provide services and support across the state. Thanks to generous support from Growth Works, we have taken the initial steps organize as a nonprofit, form our Board of Directors and start developing our plan to serve this community. The Recovery Action Network of Michigan will be a force for change bringing a wide variety of events and resources to the community. The organization looks forward to launching support groups, educational seminars, sober activities, community services events, and so much more! This initiative is primarily volunteer-based, which means it’s dependent on caring people who believe in the purpose of this community who are willing to give up their own time, and other supporters who are willing to donate resources to keep us going. If you’re interested in supporting us, please check out our upcoming events, reach out to one of our team member, or consider donating. We try and make it as easy as possible for anyone to get involved so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

?? Today’s Overdose Prevention & Narcan Training was a success! ?? We had the opportunity to train 37 members of St. Thomas a'Becket Church on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and properly administer life-saving Narcan. We also distributed 48 kits of Narcan to the community. Raising awareness and providing education is such a valuable part of enhancing recovery and preventing overdose in our community. We're incredibly grateful to the church for welcoming us and allowing us to provide this important training to their parish. Missed this training? We'll be hosting more Narcan trainings in Canton in the coming months. ?? Visit www.ran-mi.org or follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on upcoming community trainings! #EndOverdose #HarmReduction #RecoveryCommunity #NarcanSavesLives
