关于我们
Reconsidered Goods is Greensboro’s only creative reuse center with the mission to promote the arts and environmental awareness through reuse. Our creative reuse center contains a retail store, workshop space for classes and summer camps, a sewing lab, and a Make and Take studio. Over the last year, Reconsidered Goods has diverted more than 100,000 pounds of waste donated from individuals and manufacturers from entering local landfills. These reclaimed resources are distributed to educators, students, makers and artists through a variety of programs. RG offers a year-round field trip program that serves to educate participants of all ages and abilities on the environmental impacts of reusing materials through creative, STEAM based art activities. Along with our community outreach events, RG hosts school groups, staff retreats, birthday parties and a variety of classes led by local artists.
