Reco integrates with over 120 SaaS applications, ingesting all accounts and activities through APIs. Let’s take a look at a few examples: Okta, Slack, and Snowflake. Once Reco integrates with these applications, it extracts user accounts and their associated activities. After ingesting this data, we establish a baseline for each identity based on their activities, including events, locations, IP addresses, and interactions across different SaaS applications. For instance, if an Okta account is compromised, a malicious actor can exploit this access to log into other third-party applications. With Reco, we maintain a baseline for each user that tracks how many applications they access daily. If we detect an anomaly such as a malicious actor connecting to ten applications in one minute we generate an alert. This alert is enriched with contextual information, including locations, IP addresses, and the user’s baseline activity. This is how Reco can effectively detect anomalies in activities across 100 different applications in the SaaS ecosystem.
