I had a great time interviewing Patrick Buchta with ATX Musicians for the Recognize Good Ethics in Business award! Our Business and Community BADM4380 course has partnered with RecognizeGood to narrow down the finalists for the Ethics in Business Award in 4 categories. My group is interviewing around 7 nonprofit organizations for the Nonprofit category. Can’t wait to meet the rest of the nominees and put together our insights!
关于我们
RecognizeGood is an Austin-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides the means for anyone to illuminate, connect with and learn from great examples of goodness. RecognizeGood is a partner and advisor to forward-thinking businesses, an advocate for the employees of those businesses, and an imaginative champion for all nonprofits in our community. With the help of all Central Texans who believe that goodness is an investment in our future, RecognizeGood is building the community we want to see for those who come after us. Since its inspiration in 2007, RecognizeGood has grown to include a variety of unique programs ranging from celebration to education, but the root remains the same – illuminating the GOOD in our community.

Amazing group of people led by the incredible efforts from Jarrett Crippen, Susan Pratt and team! We got to say thanks to the hundreds of volunteers scaring the hell out of people for over 20 years, all for a great cause - Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC). Of course they had their volunteer appreciation event at the Lorraine Ghost Town in Manor where they filmed The Walking Dead ... but it was daylight, thank God! The group immediately paid forward the $1000 to Gavin's Gift of Grace in honor of a longtime volunteer who unexpectedly passed earlier this year. What a moment! Amy Gouldie thank you as well for your awesome work supporting families grieving the loss of a child ??
