At Reciprocity Apps we've helped scale dozens of nonprofit programs... Some like Lighthouse Direct have grown to provide hundreds of thousands of food deliveries for thousands of households since 2020. Others have set records for fundraising & number of people served. Many of the staff members working on those programs have been recipients of local, state and national awards for excellence in nonprofit programming. We've seen a lot in the last (almost) 5 years of our existence. Reciprocity could probably do a lot of good in the communities that we serve by bringing together nonprofit leaders to help each other work through more complex organizational & leadership challenges. Possible topics include leadership skills, improving board composition, communications, program management, compliance and more. Reciprocity builds user-friendly software that makes it easier for nonprofits to run, and participants to access community-based programs. Founded during the pandemic, the team behind Reciprocity launched a grassroots disaster response program called MyCOVIDResponse that quickly scaled to help over 15,000 people gain access to food assistance and dozens of other resources provided by 80 organizations.
